Disability

Are you looking for an experienced speaker to lead your team in an engaging workshop on accessibility, awareness, and inclusion? Let's get in touch!

I’ve spoken on panels, led workshops on hearing loss, neurodiversity, and disability as a whole, and partnered with organizations to help them build more accessible spaces. With a background in both theatre and science, I bring together storytelling, authenticity, and evidence-based research to create presentations that are engaging, goal-oriented, and grounded in real-world experience. I can speak at schools, businesses, universities, nonprofits, and more!

- Cody Rowe, Teacher and Theatre Director at Liberty Middle School

"In addition to being a phenomenal performer, Abigail is a highly skilled and compassionate theatre educator. Her patience, kindness, and gentle approach have had a profound impact on our adult students with developmental disabilities, helping them grow both as performers & individuals. Abigail has proven to be an exceptional talent, teacher, and colleague."

InnoCaption Retreat

Abigail spent a fully captioned and accessible weekend at InnoCaption’s Empower Retreat, where she connected with other Deaf and hard of hearing advocates, including healthcare workers, performers, and athletes.

I'll Start From Here

I’ll Start From Here is a documentary based in Fargo-Moorhead that shares personal stories about mental health. Abigail appears in the film discussing how an autism diagnosis shaped her understanding of herself.

In 2021, Abigail founded an organization at Concordia College focused on disability and mental health advocacy. Although she has graduated, the organization remains active and continues to organize fun and educational events.
